Josh joined the team as a Distillery Apprentice in January 2023 and has since advanced to the role of Process Operator. He oversees production including mashing, distillation, warehousing, bottling, and labelling. He grew up in Balmenach, just down the road from the distillery, which fostered his deep passion for whisky. He particularly enjoys exploring the diverse styles influenced by regional characteristics and cask types.
Prior to joining the distillery, he has experience in several roles, including as a Retail Supervisor for a ski and outdoor department, an Arborist specializing in tree climbing and cutting, and an Outdoor Instructor.
