Ballindalloch Family Heritage Selection marks the first-ever U.S. release from one of Scotland’s rarest distilleries: a true family run, Single Estate distillery in the heart of Speyside. After more than a decade of patient maturation, this inaugural small-batch release offers an exceptional opportunity to experience Ballindalloch Single Malt at its very beginning.

From barley to bottle, every step of production takes place on the historic Ballindalloch Estate, stewarded by the Macpherson-Grant family since 1457. Estate-grown Laureate Spring barley is cultivated, distilled, matured, and hand-bottled on site, delivering total provenance, sustainability, and character in every drop. With an annual production 100 times smaller than the average Speyside distillery, Ballindalloch represents a genuine rarity for collectors and connoisseurs.

Single Estate Craft Production, Traditional Methods
Ballindalloch’s spirit is shaped by four defining pillars: slow traditional mashing in a vintage copper mash tun, exceptionally long fermentation in Oregon pine washbacks, slow copper-rich distillation with minimal spirit collection per run, and uniquely operated worm tub condensers that create a light, elegant, and complex spirit rarely associated with this traditional method.

Maturation & Style
This extremely limited release has been matured in a careful balance of first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and first-fill ex-Sherry butts, then expertly married to achieve depth, elegance, and balance.
